New Techniques in Polymer and Precious Metal Clay

I will be giving a presentation and slide show to the Bead Society of Northern California, tomorrow, Tuesday, November 20th, at 7:30 pm. “The Bead Society of Northern California, founded in August 1977, is an independent, educational organization for people interested in or participating in the collection, history, design, production, and exhibition of beads.”

The bead society is 400 members strong, and is the second oldest in the country. My hour long presentation, titled “New Techniques in Polymer and Precious Metal Clay” will be a survey of my development as a beadmaker and of the techniques that I have developed over 15 years making polymer clay beads. Come see an early copy of my new book Polymer Clay Beads: Techniques, Projects, Inspiration, due out January 1st from Lark Books. I’ll have on hand some of the jewelry that I have featured in the book as well as beads and jewelry to sell.

The event will take place at The Sheraton-Four Points Meeting Room, 1603 Powell St. Emeryville, CA, 94608.
