14 Oct New Life Forms from Jeffrey Lloyd Dever and Louise Hibbert

I was happy to stumble upon new photos from two of my favorite artists on the Del Mano Gallery website today. Jeffrey Lloyd Dever is one of the dozen artists whose excellent contemporary polymer clay beads are featured in my upcoming book Polymer Clay Beads: Techniques, Projects, Inspiration, due out from Lark Books on January 1st. Dever, like myself, can’t resist the inspiration nature offers us in her many varied representations of pods. He also can’t resist the temptation of larger sculptural forms. Here they are presented as abstract baskets.
